·      Founded the Robotics Laboratory. The laboratory has advanced research equipment/systems including five industrial robots, one wafer handling robot system, one mobile platform, one underwater robot, three machine vision systems, two welding systems and one Ford assembly system.

·      Develop intelligent robotics and machine learning research in assembly, welding, material handling and inspection etc.

·      Perform research in wafer handling robotics.

·      Develop semiconductor manufacturing process optimization research based on machine learning.

·      Perform research in robotics in agriculture, especially in animal farming.
